OK, You inspired me to finally start up my own blog. It is still short of text entries, but I have instead been working on the Calendar feature, listing all known area soccer events, and my (overly)-organized list of links. As you might tell, this won't be so much the "stream-of-consiousness"-type blog, but rather the one-place information portal of Detroit footy. (I'll do some "bloggy"-type postings here and there, maybe when the seasons start.)

I am adding things like World Cup Qualifer games on TV as "viewing parties." Let me know where the viewing's will take place.

Your December 4 posting seems to give the Bucks schedule start date, but if you go from December 4 and add 202 days, you get June 24, 2009; which would obviously be the middle of the season.

Our website will be debuting soon, as well. In addition to starting to build up toward the season debut of the Bucks coming up now in 4 months and counting, we'll be doing some viewing parties for the World Cup Qualifiers, pick-up soccer games and more.

Here's another in-case-you-missed-it: The PDL season runs from May 1 to July 19. The playoffs will have 24 teams, three from each divison. Divisional playoffs (#2 versus #3, winner plays #1) are July 24-26. Quarterfinals and semifinals are July 31-August 2. Final is Saturday, August 8 on Fox Soccer Channel.
