I have watched the Kickers form bad times to good and I am thinking that perhaps the problem with the team this year is that Ronnie needs to let someone take a chance. Most of the games I've seen this year, he either has missed some easy goals or not his usual self. Is he injured and covering up like Mike McGinty did. Why not take a chance with another goalie, Coach? One is always sitting on the bench but rarely do they get to play...

OK I will take this one. First off welcome to the board. I notice your screen name is 10yearfan. If you have been a Kickers fan for 10 years you surely have not seen the bad. Trust me on this one. As for Ronnie being hurt or anything like that I seriously doubt that's the fact. I wouldn't say he has let in any soft goals. There was one (against Charleston I think) that looked like it may be flicked on but went in. The ball kind of froze Ronnie. Richmond has only lost twice this year. Both at home but against the defending champs Orlando and currently the third place Battery. Richmonds problem this season has been lack of scoring and defensive lapses. The latter rearing it's head big time against Harrisburg. As for the backup keeper. Im not sure if Ryan Jones has arrived yet.

yeah Jonesy's been here for a month now, he'll play some this season. He did well over in the UK this winter and the game he played for us in LA was awesome. Our problem isn't with Ronnie though. It just seems a lot of the players are a little complacent right now.. which happens sometimes when you bring back 18 or 19 people.
