This was all taken from the USL website. This doesn't take into account games that didn't report attendance. Of course, Orange County's numbers are inflated, as they had one game that had 2,800, everything else was about 150. I think teams that have about 700 should definitley think about moving up to the PSL. Although I'm thinking teams with 500, if in the right area, could survive in the PSL.

I think Des Moines and Kalamazoo could be strong candidates to replace teams like Westchester, San Diego and California, based on what I'd seen. They average a couple hundred each. I also think El Paso and Spokane would also be good candidates, I've seen them with turnouts of well over 1,000.
Although I cover the hounds, I also cover the leagues and I pay particular attention to the turnouts.

Those teams may look good from an organizaiton and attendance stand point. But you really need add another 3 - 4 teams in their region. They are really to far from either coast for it to make sence. In a lot of cases, teams might be better off waiting till they are ready to make the jump all the way up to the A-League and skip the PSL. The exception to this might be teams that are near the Northeast or Mid Atlantic regions.

You're right, but I think Fresno, Colorado Springs and El Paso would make a pretty good western conference.

Out west, we play other PSL teams usually back-to-back nights to save on travel costs and then fill out the rest of our schedule with PDL teams. If the teams could survive the huge travels like E.P. or C.S. to Fresno and vice versa, then they could fill out the rest of their schedule against teams near them.
