HELP - I'm working on an article and I need to know the overall # of players that were drafted into the MLS for the 04 and 05 seasons.

Don't care who they were, don't care about who they played for.

Just the overall #!

There's usually a press release from the league office that gives that information. In a quick perusal of the league's website archives, I couldn't find it, but maybe it could be found with a search here or on uslfans.com.

I've covered the Drafts, thru the MLS website. An easy way to find out is there were 4 rounds of 12 selections, and I believe last year there were also 4. Just add twelve times the number of rounds.

By the way, a total of 30 players got picked up from the PDL in the MLS draft.
