The Louisiana Outlaws defeated the University of the Incarnate Word Saturday evening with a 3-2 score.
The Word arrived about 15 minutes before game time which may explain their slow start. The Outlaws jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st. UIW stuck around and made it interesting by tying the score 2-2 near the middle of the 2nd.

After the contest, the UIW players were treated to hamburgers, hotdogs and soft drinks by a small group of Outlaw fans. This is a tradition going back to last season when hospitality was given to the West Dallas Kings, Texas Spurs and other teams.
