So are you saying that they verified (specified) Bermuda coming in during the broadcast?

If so then why did you later make the claim "I just can't imagine the hounds making the trip down to Berumuda." Again, if the league did confirm this, then you better imagine the Hounds making the trip becasue they will have to!

If the league didn't veryify Bermuda, then what is your source for them? Remember, without you naming a source, its just a claim :p

You, in a subsequent post, went ahead and said you couldn't imagine the Hounds making the trip down there. I told you that if it were true that they were going to join the division like you claimed (which you did, if you would read your own first post), then you would have to imagine it - since all D2 teams play each other.

Later, I simply asked you what your source was about Bermuda since you had said that you named a source - when in fact you hadn't named one for them

Since you originally did not name your source about Bermuda, then that's exactly what you did at first...you claimed that they were joining the league

And to be honest, I don't know where it was ever said on these boards that they are definitely joining the league like you claim. Maybe you read that on Big Soccer? The last I saw was back in July, I believe it was, when someone posted an article about the possibility of them joining. In that article they said they were getting ready to submit an application to the league. The league also confirmed that they had been talking to them and did say that they expected them to join the league sooner than later. So it does sound like things are looking promising. But I've yet to see a confirmation on them officially being accepted or the league confirming that they will definitely be playing next season
I'm not saying that it hasn't been confirmed by others on here. I very well may have missed it. But I really don't trust anything that comes from you, so I have my doubts that any post like that exists. Or you wouldn't have made the remark that you did later about the Hounds/Bermuda. So one of your posts is inaccurate, since they contradict each other

Note: even though the headline says that football is coming to Bermuda, and even the first couple of paragraphs seem to say this also, if you read further you will see where they hadn't even submitted an application at that point. I think they must have Chuckles writing for them

you're right, i meant all the teams in the same division, but with 2 conferences. wasn't PR supposed to subsidize teams travel costs in D1, much like Bermuda is saying they will do? i had heard they were doing it, but then stopped because the cost was too high.

i really think that the only place the USL needs to look at expanding D1/D2 is the west coast or the middle of the US. Teams do not have the funds to continually travel across the country. Maybe the USL needs to put a hold on expanding and focus on developing the league as it is. What is the benefit of expanding if it forces teams to fold when they run out of money?

And I'll keep mentioning, the league needs to get the teams together to promote the league as a whole and get the "league sponsors"(Umbro, Sprinturf) to actually do something. I would love to learn what they actually do to help the USL. The league can take some hints from the MLS on some things to do, not everything, but they do some things right.
