How well do I know their fans? Fairly well since I lived there for a couple of years and regularly attended sporting events.
It doesn't freaking matter that every time you see a game there it's well attended. What matters is actual history, not some nut-job that tries to "remember" whether stadiums were filled, or not, when he watched a sporting event on TV.
Here, chew on this and get back to me when you can, dipwad:
PRO SOCCER IN PHILADELPHIA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Fury "The Fury returned NASL soccer to Philadelphia for the first time since the Philadelphia Atoms folded in 1976. Although never posting a winning season, they did make the playoffs in two of their three seasons. But
attendance declined with each season and after a poor year on the pitch and at the gate in 1980, the club was sold and moved to become the Montreal Manic."

poor attendance and non-competitiveness."
PRO BASEBALL IN PHILADELPHIA:

they have turned off their fans, too. Last year, their attendance was ninth in the National League."
PRO BASKETBALL IN PHILADELPHIA:
http://www.hoopsworld.com/article_17643.shtml "The Sixers need to step up as a franchise and do something because there is also an issue of
waning fan interest that is pretty serious right now.
Fan interest and attendance were both down this past year."
COLLEGE BASKETBALL IN PHILADELPHIA:

lukewarm at best."
PRO SOCCER IN PHILADELPHIA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Atoms "The Atoms could not sustain the success of their first season as the club missed the playoffs in each of their remaining three NASL campaigns.
Attendance began to flag and the club folded after the 1976 season." (Dipwad even refered to the Atoms in this thread!)
PRO BASKETBALL IN PHILADELPHIA:
http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/sports/...illy_basketball "This 76ers organization is a shadow of what it once was when Pat Croce was in charge and Dave Coskey handled most of the business side. They didn't need Fangate.
Their attendance was poor . . . and, let's face it, NBA tix are so high-priced that even people doing pretty well can't afford it. It's a darn shame that they price out regular folks. Like, how many people never get a sniff of the Wachovia Center and, especially, the Lincoln Financial Field?"
I'd like to think that if someone told you to "think" before you posted something stupid, you'd actually listen. However, based on your past record, I know that won't happen.
"Stupid" will continue.
