Good grief. Some people have no grasp of supreme excellence!
Already the whiney little Splinters fans are coming down on the majestic, glorious Seattle God-like Sounders with miniscule ridicule. It is all obviously inspired by jealousy. They are so transparent they should change their team colors to Green (envy) and transparent. They can decide which part of the kit gets which!

So Seattle has the absolute GALL to host an actual media event, invite a few fans, and list goals for the season! Outrage I say! How dare they!

Typically the trees are falling in line with little half-witted jabs about 'arrogance," and posting on their own boards about low-class topics such as what Seattle supporters look like.

How low will this group of sadsacks go? The USL needs to form a task force pronto to monitor these keyboard hooligans!

I don't get a vote, but if I had one, I'd vote for transparent shorts.

T*mb*rs fan "logic":

Returning most of the players from a team that won its division and advanced to the confrence finals in the playoffs = not "top-ranked".

Returning most of the players from a team that failed to make the playoffs = shoe-in for the A-League finals.

What's the difference between a magician and a T*mb*rs fan? A magician does illusions, a T*mb*rs fan is just dillusional.

Who cares really? Let them think they've got a far superior team and that they're going to "crush" us time and again this season.

Interesting how when you've won fook all over a 29 year span, you can get all cocky & stuff. Numbers in the supporters section... sure. But on the pitch, lol!

Craps fans have a lot more reason to be cocky than P*rtland's -- they've got a better team, they've won a trophy or two in their history, and they've beaten us a lot more than our rival to the south ever have. Guess to their credit, they act like they've been there, done that before.

Instead of spending time bashing one another why don't we all just give it a rest until May 1?

If the Sounders win then by all means talk trash. If the Timbers win then expect the same. If it is a draw then we can both agree to bash Vancouver. wink

Sounds fair to me. Pre-match banter is one thing, personal attacks are another matter altogether.

Although something tells me that if the match ends in a draw, both sides are going to go at it even more with a return match in two weeks.

The Southsiders are probably having a laugh and a half over all of this!
