Sorry JB about the resurection, but I'm new to the boards and ran across that post bashing the whole Battery family. I don't know BUCK, I have read his original post bashing the fans for a possible front office mistake, but why does one PR fan have to do the same stupid (sorry BUCK) reflective action. I am one of those Battery fans who is being attacked by a Rico fan. However, instead of bashing the whole fan base, I am trying to show this fan the error of his/her ways. Islanders' fans have nothing against The Battery. My man just said those things in the heat of being pi@@ed off. Still, that doesn't make it OK. The Charleston Battery is a great club with a storied history and great fans. A lot of us are actually interested in the Islanders trying to be like the Battery some day. To get that kind of respect. To build that kind of history.

So, although I did not make the statement, my sincerest, personal apologies to any Battery fans that were offended. It's not right to dis a franchise and all of it's fans just because of one bitter loser.

Much respect to the Battery and to the lovely city of Charleston!
