gforever, I played little league baseball back in the early 60's. Does that make me an expert to go and sit behind little league dugouts and critic the players and coaches? I have been around the game of soccer for close to 18 years changing my thoughts on the game. There are many soccer moms and soccer dads like myself that know the game of soccer. We do not need you to give us a play by play. Its seems that at last nights game, the Blast need to get better ATHLETES on the field. Popsforever
Pops - I don't think it's athleticism that this team lacks. What I saw last night was a group that was not moving together well as a unit. It affected them both with & without the ball.
Others have said as much: Players making runs & not receiving the ball on time, the ball not played to feet, backs falling back to play an attacker onsides. They just aren't on the same page (assuming they are reading the same book).
What do you think it does to a team (that already has difficulty meshing, probably due to ongoing controversy) to go to this board and read that some fans think they need to be cut? Hopefully this holiday weekend will do everyone some good.
The Blast released players for alledged disciplinary reasons early in the season, then at the contract deadline they release a few more for strictly business reasons, but the rest of the team is threatened by what they read on this board posted by fans? :rolleyes:

The kicker ACTion4 is that this poll was posted by the "resigned" gaffer that is responsible for a lot of the problems. Guess he is tired of taking our sh*t on here and wants to deflect our attention to the remaining players. About right for motivation there Jimmy?
