I totally agree that saying out late would hinder ones performance the next say (I know my old *** couldn't handle it), but it is my understanding that this group of players were leading the pack and finishing first during the entire fitness session. Does that justify their late night excursions, or attititude about it? Not sure?

From an outsiders point of view, it looks like the Blast made a big mistake in hiring a coach who has no idea how to coach his players. I read this board a lot even though I have no relation at all to the Blast because it is great to see a lot of fans supporting their team even though they are losing. You guys keep talking about an upcoming "winning streak" but I think you have to accept a winning season is out of the question. No wins yet and dissention within the squad. Futbolman you are correct about all of this going away if they win 5-6 games in a row, but the bottom line is that when you "tweak" the squad weekly, it isn't going to happen. Good luck.

This is absolutely absurd. Players are cut for breaking no rules. The staff of this organization is lost and looking to point fingers at anything they can. Now, its because players drink too much. So lets get rid of more. What is the true reason for cutting these players? Maybe someone should keep a video recorder in Kat's Pub and record the hours and extra large beers old Jimmy and the staff have on a NIGHTLY basis. As a matter of fact, this decision to ruin player's careers was made over some beers at Kat's Pub. Are you serious??? That is why these players got cut. This organization makes decisions to cut player's while boozing. Wow!! I love it. I tell you what, this message board is great, because in this organzation, something crazy is guaranteed to happen everyday. If they can't entertain the fans by winning, at least the organization as a whole entertains us.

Okay, who or how many are really gone? I have heard as many as 6 and as few as two? Why are they gone if they are? Who sent them? Did they break team rules, was it their attitude and if so what was said? Some times an old fashioned a-- chewing is what is needed from both sides. I said before and I will say it again, close the doors, grant everyone immunity and let everyone air it out, cuss, throw things, yell, scream, call each other the vilest names you can come up with without bringing their mothers into it. Then after the smoke, hellfire and damnation is over with, ask the most important question of all, "OKAY WE HAVE ALL SAID WHAT WE HAD TO SAY NOW WHAT CAN WE DO TO START WINNING?" Jimmy, if you read this, back off and please do as I respectfully suggest. You know they worked in the old days and may be what you need now. There are some fine people in that group and they are frustrated. Have a closed door session. It is not about your way or the highway. It is about how to get them to do what needs to be done to win so you can both be happy and civil to each other. If it comes to cutting people after the closed door, so be it. At least clear the air and have it out but with guaranteed immunity. Might just be what you and the team needs. gforever

i totally agree with you rabbit 1. i'm sure the guys got kicked out of kat's because that jimmy's place. (i'm surprised he hasn't moved there) (or has he his car is always there). maybe they need to set rules for the coach. i don't know him, but the way it sounds he has a drinking problem himself. if you are going to let all these players go jimmy then you need to release yourself as well. i don't think it's just the players i think you need to take some of the blame and rethink the decisions you have made. i will be praying for jimmy and the team. oh and jimmy if you read this i hope you get some sleep tonight. i'm sure it will be hard due to all the bad choices and disions you have made. oh and one more thing i also think if you cut these players for there attitude you need to seek some help as well due to the way you carry on. i don't mean to be harsh just honest and sometimes the only way people can see their faults are through the eyes of someone else. maybe you are these guys role models and you are teaching them the wrong walks of life.

To many things done without thinking things thru-sounds like a heated moment that got way out of hand. To bad for the team. Hope the organization can pull this one out!!
