SIX road games to start the season??!! Buzz thinks this is a good schedule??

It used to be that way every year. I think one year they started with seven on the road.

Recently they had scheduled at least a game or two at home in the first half-dozen games, but I guess that was just an anomoly.

They had an early home game in 2000, but the weather was 20-degrees. It's a voluntary thing so they can load up on games around the big tournaments at the NSC, and to avoid the weather.

In some ways, yes, it sucks, but in others, it gets a good chunk of road games out of the way early.

I coupld grumble on this: five sets of back-to-back games (total of 10), four sets of games with one day betweeen. But, unfortuantely, that's pretty much par for the course.
