To experience a little bit of the past Thunder season, The Kelly Inn is now offering free parking and a free shuttle to all of the Minnesota RollerGirls bouts. In addition, they are offering RollerGirl drink specials at the Sweetwater.

Pre and Post bout party also at Station 4. Drink specials until 7pm, including $2 Pabst tall boys. They're offering a shuttle again too.

This time around, The Atomic Bombshells will take on the Rockits in the first match.

The second match feaures the Dagger Dolls skating against the Garda Belts.

Featuring half-time entertainment by The MYDOLS. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.

Friday, October 14.

Hey, anyone else interested in the Friday night bout?

AJ: what do you think the view is like up in the peanut gallery at the Roy. I'll bet it looks pretty good from the high vantage point, although the track side seating puts you closer to the action than Fridley Bob at the Jimmy

BTW: FB, you've got to get out for one of these events, this is not jolly olde England. You can even kit up like your favorite team (sorry no blue team).

The Roy is ready for the likes of the Dark Clouds.

Pre- and post-bout party at Station 4 for the Pabst specials.

Speaking from first-hand experience, LS in Rollergirls mode is a somewhat different beast than LS in Thunder mode. Both are incredible jackasses, but the Rollergirls LS is a bit more on the "Cold Pabst" side of the universe while Thunder LS is more of a "Hot Nuts" type.

I'm up for going again this week. I hope they play Metallica's "Whiplash" again.

Damn, I like the sound of that. One half of the crowd chants "cold Pabst" and the other responds "Hot Nuts." Could we pull it off?

I'm down with going to tonights bouts. I tried to get some people to go but they all had plans. So, should I expect to meet up with some people at Station 4?

Well, there is a small, small chance I can go too. I'm searching for a babysitter for tonight. If I am lucky, I will be there.

Pretty good psychoanalysis, AJ, unless and until I take it up a level at the Roy's roller rink.

Matt, I'll try to get to Station 4 by about 6:30, and hope we can catch an earlier shuttle (last week we waited until almost 7:30 to catch the ride).

Saddle up to the bar, and kick back a couple of Pabst tall boys (and one for the shuttle).

I'm not sure we're ready for full Dark Clouds regalia (horn, drums, flags) yet.
