http://www.mnthunder.com/news/default.asp?id=847 So the Thunder played an exhibition yesterday in Stillwater and won 6-0. Looks like a lot of the reserves played, along with a new guest player, Renee (I'm guessing it's Rene, but thas how they spelled it) Zaragoza, "a guest player from the Hispanic League," who scored a goals and had 2 assists. Good news is that Zafer played 45 minutes and should be back for the Indiana game.
Now here's the wierd thing to me:
"The Thunder will host its annual Kids Day exhibition match Wednesday, June 25 (kickoff 11 a.m.) at the National Sports Center. For more information, call the Thunder office at 763-785-3668. The Thunder has exhibitions in Duluth on Friday, June 27 and in Chaska on Sunday, June 29."
So there's a league match on Saturday the 28th, and they're playing exhibitions the day before and the day after - and travelling to Duluth for one of them? I know that a lot of non-regulars play in these, but are there enough players that no one who's going to play on Saturday will need to play on Friday?
