If we pour money into the team and lose that... I'll be sad. That's unreasonable and unfair to many people at the Stars, but still... I much preferred 2002 Man City to 2008 Man City. Not me and none of the supporters I know do. Been a City fan since the 96-97 season thanks to my college roommate who grew up a couple of miles away from Maine Road. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be a fan of the sport. If it wasn't for that cash injection at the time. City was close to doing a Portsmouth.
