As we're in our winter doldrums, I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest a solution with ColdfusionMN for the rights to the Coldfus- name on the USL Discussion boards. It's admittedly a bit confusing.

Despite having been the first registered and most posts, I propose ColdfusionMN and I participate in some sort of contest as determined by the other Dark Clouds for the rights to the name. The victor will be allowed to retain his name along with getting to choose the loser's new handle.



My idea (assuming acceptance by ColdfusionMN) would be fastest time to finish an entire Surly and bag of hot nuts.

I would be up for this, however I think there need to be more rules; such as: the the surly needs to be your first beer of the day and you need to eat the entire bag of hot nuts by yourself. I do have less to lose in this than you do.

I propose a contest of solo tifo creation.

Winner keeps the name.

Excellent. I agree with those conditions, however would like to hear some other ideas people come up with before the contest is decided.

Not opposed to the idea of drafting teammates either.

Triathalon: Drink Surly, eat Hot Nuts, juggle lit nautical flares.

I filled with the SOS office as the assumed name of "Soccer Boy." Anyone tries to use it or some variation and I'll sue the bastard.

Does one of the EPL days at the Nomad work for you ColdfusionMN?

Well this weekend is an FA Cup weekend, so you could always do it then. Or just wait until the big games are back the next weekend. This will be epic. Does the winner also get to choose the name of the loser? Caveat: they should try to give a clever good name to the loser.

Per Wes's suggestion, let's do January 19th. What time?

Points of contention:
1) Tap or Can? Furious is probably the most fitting considering it's their flagship beer.
2) I suggest no gloves or mechanical devices to crack peanuts allowed--only bare hands.
3) Bring at least 3 bags of hot nuts, variation in total number of nuts in bag part of the luck of the draw.

I am cool with that however, I like the idea of the nuts but it might take us a long time to eat a whole bag. Perhaps we should go less nuts and add another event. Also while I think cans would be most true to the Dark Clouds I think Tap would be better.

I am confused by Coldfuse and ColdFusion. I think it is really the same person.

Is this still happening this weekend? Time? Do I need to bring anything?

Also what's the line? Any side action here?
