As we're in our winter doldrums, I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest a solution with ColdfusionMN for the rights to the Coldfus- name on the USL Discussion boards. It's admittedly a bit confusing.

Despite having been the first registered and most posts, I propose ColdfusionMN and I participate in some sort of contest as determined by the other Dark Clouds for the rights to the name. The victor will be allowed to retain his name along with getting to choose the loser's new handle.



My idea (assuming acceptance by ColdfusionMN) would be fastest time to finish an entire Surly and bag of hot nuts.

I would be up for this, however I think there need to be more rules; such as: the the surly needs to be your first beer of the day and you need to eat the entire bag of hot nuts by yourself. I do have less to lose in this than you do.

I propose a contest of solo tifo creation.

Winner keeps the name.

Excellent. I agree with those conditions, however would like to hear some other ideas people come up with before the contest is decided.

I filled with the SOS office as the assumed name of "Soccer Boy." Anyone tries to use it or some variation and I'll sue the bastard.

Well this weekend is an FA Cup weekend, so you could always do it then. Or just wait until the big games are back the next weekend. This will be epic. Does the winner also get to choose the name of the loser? Caveat: they should try to give a clever good name to the loser.
