yeah, theres no way he was intentionally trying to hurt anyone. A hit like that in the NFL would earn a financial sanction. Intent, is really a question of intent to do the act.

Soccer Boy, you forget that D2 players have very little 'financial' to sanction... The guy needs to learn a lesson. I would say three match suspension, plus $5K.

After further consideration, I would not call it violent conduct, but reckless ... still a RED card in my book.
Please don't call it dangerous play, that is something different entirely.

Moura posted the clip on Facebook. Thanks to our Canadian friends and their excellent North of the Border technology that allows them to slow the play down, you can see the ball is 2-3 yards away from Moura when he is hit in a vicious and wanton manner that was done in reckless disregard for player safety. Playing the ball? My A$$!
