Themselves,NASL or potential buyers? I was at my first visit to Atlanta & went with an open mind! They are doing awfull but getting great crowds! Was my take on the upturn with Eric Wynalda & 4,000+ crowds in a just over 4,000 seat facility. They claimed a crowd of 4,060 last night.Anyone even more lacking in sight than me can make out maybe 1,500 souls in the Stadium if they check out US Stream. The Strikers massed ranks of 30 or so make far more noise on the audio. My point is they are doing no favours to the league or any other club with grossly inflated crowds .It is so easy to give tickets away & count them as attendees but when there is clearly an empty stadium live on tv it benefits only the soccer haters out there. Not amention of the game in the Atlanta Journal- Constitution at all not even an acknoledgement of a team in Atlanta.Sadly 6 inches makes up the match report in Fort Lauderdale Sun _ Sentinel

It is so hard to tell from the webcasts and the multi-colored seats also make it look larger. I have heard from sources that they are fudging the numbers big time...kind of like what the Thunder used to do.
How do they do their season tickets. If they do flex-tickets like the Stars, they technically should not be counting unless the person comes through the gate. If you get tickets for a specific match, then you can count if they do not come in.
I would say the reported numbers for the Stars have been very legit this season, as was the case last year.

Last night Atlanta announced they had 3911. Yeah, I could only see 1/2 the stadium from the webcast, however, the side closest to the camera would need to be jammed full for it to qualify for a legitimate 3911.

I agree 100%
The only numbers that should be counted for attendance are the number of people that actually bought a real ticket (with real money) and then actually showed up to watch the game.
Everything else is just bullshit coming from the top down.
Except there is no league in this country that does that. Sorry about your luck. Keep trying to fight the good fight, though, genius. It is so hard to tell from the webcasts and the multi-colored seats also make it look larger. And yet.... Last night Atlanta announced they had 3911. Don't let it stop ya!

I see you are back to your old style of attacking everyone. How is that little webby attendance project going for you? Is that the kind of spirit that the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce promotes Kenn? Calling people names.
