The Wilmington Hammerheads havE formally released forward Chukwudi Chijindu for the remainder of the 2012 regular season.

Chijindu is traveling to Iceland on behalf of an opportunity for a long-term deal signing for Icelandic side Þór Akureyri (Thor AK) until the end of the 2012 season.

I hate that he is leaving but I wish him well! Solid player!
