Stars are at Highland Fest this weekend, starting today!
Highland Fest

Every time the Stars are in the community, they're out spreading the word. We can do the same - we can join in their effort.

When they were at MOA a couple of days ago, the interns were standing around handing out schedules. I walked over to people watching from a distance and talked to them, handed them either the official schedule or our Dark Clouds cards. I talked to people walking by instead of holding out cards.

What I'm saying is, we can help. I love talking soccer to strangers and even if I didn't, I think I would do it now in case it helps spread the word. The more people who know about our team, the better the chance someone will connect with someone who can buy the team.

It can't hurt, right?

The Stars were apparently at Highland Fest, a street fair in St Paul, but I didn't see any on Sunday afternoon.

Well, I saw one of the interns driving by in a car when we arrived, but that was it.

Any word on the State Fair? I would volunteer to spread the word there.

@Soccer Boy, don't you have some of your daughters soccer tryouts that will cause you to miss the State Fair in which you will reply that you are bummed that you can't make it?

There was a representative of the Stars at HighlandFest both Friday and Saturday when I showed up (both times wearing a Stars jersey.) They didn't have the draw of the Wild or Swarm tent (which had interactive games) but talked to a few people and handed out some temporary tattoos and such. I will admit to selfishly enjoying the festival with my son(s) rather than helping them out. But I'm glad to see them out at such events.
