That's great for you and the rest of Long Island's citizens.

I luv my NASL league! It has a strong US soccer history, and I was a (very small) part of it. smile

I just can't wait to see Beckenbauer play again. Especially now with Cantona on the team - they'll be great!

I'm wondering if Altman, Dias, Davis, and Kallman can handle Pele, Cruyff, Cantona, and Giorgio all attacking at the same time?

I know Bracalello can beat Beckenbauer, and Alberto Carlos through the middle, and then Shep Messing in goal.

Bump!

I believe they can handle them!

Besides, Chinaglia might not be too tough to beat; he died in April...

It is my ardent wish that we sing a song by the Copyrights song "Grown Folks Business" from their Songs About [censored] Up split 7" with the Dopamines.

Tell me something
That I never heard before
Tell me something

I'm directing this one to Jeff a little here (since he was there), but its free game to anyone. I noticed that in the late 70's the Kicks defeated the Cosmos 9-2 in game one of their semifinal series. Nine (did someone say nine)-2. Since I didn't get involved in the game until the mid 80's, can someone tell me how the Kicks scored 9 in an outdoor game, especially against a solid side like the Cosmos? Either way, it must have been a fun day at the Met. Would love to hear the story.
