I am not sure where to post this picture, so I decided to start a thread for the 7-4 match. It was erroneously reported by the stupid announcer down in Tampa that Amani Walker was out for the season. I just wanted to let everyone know Amani is alive and well, and was once again on the training pitch this AM. Here is a picture I look from training. The pitch is in great shape and will look even better once the NSC paints the pitch before the match.

Heat will be a factor. We are all probably going to die. But lets beat the damned Islanders.

I need a first-half sun-blocking hat of some sort.

It is not going to be that bad. Winter is coming, right?

Hanging tifo is going to be a daunting task today. If you can show up early to the tailgate to help, please do. Many hands don't cool the work, but they make it lighter.

On TIFO setup: request from NSC staff to commandeer one of their carts and driver to ferry the flags, banners, drums and accessory boxes over to the east stand.
On GRILL: 4 bags of charcoal remain from previous games in storage room. Again, use NSC cart (ask nicely) to drive stuff over to the grill area.
On GAME: put the Islanders under seige from the minute they come out the tunnel until the final whistle.

Last night was the best match I have seen the Stars play. It reminded me a lot of the 3-1 beatdown the Stars gave the Islanders last year at the Nessy, except we scored four goals and the Islanders had a big goose egg.
From what ai saw, the Stars had some great combination play in the attacking third. They also made some slart decisions to unbalance the Islanders. From watching training, Coach Manny has been working really hard with Nunez/Simone and the midfield. It was also exciting to see Taka come forward and have some nice scoring opportunities.
I was also pumped to see Amani Walker get back on the field. Kudos all the way around.
