We weren't, but it might have. We needed to have spent a little more time cultivating a few more contacts than we did. Kristen did great pulling people together, but we just didn't get the kind of head start we needed to get things like soccer players involved. That took some more work than we anticipated, so it's on the calendar for next year.

Maybe I am missing something, but why would the Dark Clouds be interested in marching in a PRIDE parade? It seems like political activism. I don't normally associate activism with supporters groups.

Treating all humans as equal humans is not a political topic. People get that confused a lot.

It's just another great chance for the Dark Clouds to participate in a meaningful community event that draws a lot of people and gets the word out about soccer. That's all.

I do associate activism with supporters groups. That's why we volunteer and donate and use the power of our passion for things beyond soccer.
