We weren't, but it might have. We needed to have spent a little more time cultivating a few more contacts than we did. Kristen did great pulling people together, but we just didn't get the kind of head start we needed to get things like soccer players involved. That took some more work than we anticipated, so it's on the calendar for next year.

I'm bumping last year's thread for this year. I know we talked about being a part of the TC Pride parade. Who was going to be in charge of the logistics? I just looked and the parade looks already to be wait-list only. http://www.regonline.com/builder/site/Default.aspx?EventID=1191220

Someone has contact within the organization to get us in. I can't recall who though.

I thought Kristen Martilla had an in. Maybe I'm making that up but when we wanted to make it happen last year, I thought she had something to do with it.
Maybe I am missing something, but why would the Dark Clouds be interested in marching in a PRIDE parade? It seems like political activism. I don't normally associate activism with supporters groups.

It's just another great chance for the Dark Clouds to participate in a meaningful community event that draws a lot of people and gets the word out about soccer. That's all.
