I guess everyone can post what they want to, but it really makes no sense to always just post links. I have never met anyone link you with so little to express.

SB - not sure why the criticism here. Marc puts a lot of good info out here. I guess we are very conditioned in this country to get a story with a slant to it. Its actually refreshing to see someone just report info for info sake, without a huge slant. Marc is just reporting information for the benefit of those who don't have a lot of time to research. I think he has some good info.
Keep up the good work, Silver!

as I said before I post what I think is interesting...if my link dumping as they call it bothers you so much...don't read it. It's America...you have the right to ignore.

As someone just waking up and finding their way around American soccer outside the MLS, it's interesting to read about the NASL's plans.
St Louis does seem like the right place for an NASL club. I've actually wondered why there wasn't an MLS club there. I'd heard that the soccer culture in St Louis is pretty good.
One thing that puzzled me when I read the article was the USSF's requirements for the NASL. Having to have teams spread out across the US (over three, or four?, time zones) seems to be a drain on resources even for the MLS. Is it just that fans won't buy into a regional NASL league (NASL East and West?) or is the USSF agenda for American soccer going somewhere that requires a fully national (international really) second tier league? since the USL already has a complete coast to coast presence, I think that they'd like the NASL to pretty much obtain a national presence as well.
