Thoughts on the upcoming game?
Here are the two main things I have so far:
Cosmo (Jack Stewart) was named the NASL defensive player of the week last week. (I told him congratulations, good for him, it's not going to help against the Stars.) I figure his ego will just get a bit bigger and make him an easier target... smile

Polo Morales broke both bones in his lower leg in the first half of their game last weekend against Edmonton. The team looks to be rallying around him. Nothing I can say against the guy. I wish him a speedy, healthy recovery, and surgery went well, apparently, so that's a great start on his recovery. It's something to be aware of, at the very least.

What else? I just woke up and haven't had nearly enough coffee.

Saturday will be here soon and I'm looking forward to a Stars win.

Here's to hoping. I'll be cheering from Portland, and hopefully with a stream to watch!

Come on Stars!

If the stream doesn't work I will just tell you to relax. That makes it all okay.

Actually, pfutz, maybe you should start your pity party now... just in case.

Can I join the pity party too? Daughter #2 has a 730pm KO Saturday night. I will likely miss the match...or most of it. Can someone deliver Surly to me at Field A2?

Get a really long string and I'll bring the styrofoam cups to give you a play by play*.
