We're 60 minutes in and I've just turned off the audio.

Worst of the year.

They're sort of entertaining... but they're really bad.

So Minnesota is the northernmost team in the NASL. Heh.

Hey, I am the only one on the Boards allowed to bitch about the poor job. I did not catch the first half as I had some soccer training this evening. However, I got home at half and I thought they were about as funny and entertaining as a bad case of syphilis. I was so annoyed that I turned off the sound after 5 minutes.

They certainly needed a reality check. The team formerly known as FC Tampa Bay got out played by our second team. I thought Shaun King was about as dangerous as the little poodle that lives next door to me. I was not impressed at all!

At any rate, we are still undefeated. See you at the watch party on Tuesday when we play Unreal Salty Lake!

I love that they can't get over the fact that Minnesota isn't playing any regular starters. And they seem to love their lack of playing minutes, or even total PROFESSIONAL minutes (HE'S PLAYING IN HIS FIRST PROFESSIONAL GAME!) But the best part: there aren't any starters, but THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE BOTHERED BY IT!
Love it!

I really believe in this team.

I posted on the other thread, but these are brand new announcers. They used to have one of the best in the league, Mike Pepper. He quit after not getting paid.

Tampa falls in my rankings now!

Only one regular "starter" (Altman) and a bunch of guys who haven't had any time and we held (easily) a team full of good players. In past seasons, the sight of Ambersley in the box has filled me with dread, but jesus, we held them off without it ever being too terrifying. Tampa isn't a bad team, but those "non-starters" were absolutely their match.

If I was Manny Lagos I'd be laughing all the way home to have such a deep pool of talent.

Hildebrandt looked totally comfortable and calm. I thought the back and midfield seemed organized in their marking and passing. Great stuff.

You hit the nail on the head. The Stars have depth in a lot of areas. I hope Wasson gained some confidence from last nights match. He has not started a match in over a year-and-a-half.
