Minnesota Stars FC invites members of the Twin Cities’ vibrant and diverse adult soccer community to come together at the National Sports Center on Saturday, June 23, for the first-ever Stars Cup, a day of fast-paced 6v6 action.
The tournament will feature open and competitive divisions on the brand-new Field Turf surface inside the NSC Sport Hall. For $200, teams can register up to 10 players for the tournament. Stars Cup guarantees teams four 18-minute games. The fields will be small, roughly 35 yards by 60 yards, with small goals and no goalkeepers. The $200 registration fee includes 10 adult general admission tickets to the Stars’ match that night against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
The winning team in each division will receive an upgrade to pitch-side seats for the game, recognition during the Stars game, and $500 of credit to use on AdmiralSoccer.com for apparel and equipment from Admiral, official equipment supplier of Minnesota Stars FC. The winning team in the competitive division will also take home a $500 cash prize.
For more information, contact Stars FC director of business development Kevin Friedland by emailing kevin@mnstarsfc.com or calling (763) 792-7348. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 1. Confirmation, schedule and rules will be emailed to team captains by Friday, June 15.
