Ok kids, let's recap.
Stage one: make a website and fb page, get people from the outside interested. Sidenote: many of you probably aren't "likers" of the page because it posts info you already know. You should "like" it nonetheless so it has big #s.
Stage two: get legislators interested. I don't know how many of you actually wrote to people about it, but writing your local person is a good idea. Getting Mayor Rybak at the game and retweeting some MLS4MN news is great.
Stage three: The Vikes have been understandably busy with the stadium. All the other issues (MLS, ahem) could be pushed aside. As Tom Scheck tweeted back to me, MLS is an issue, but it's not THE issue.
So what's the next step? We need to get some sort of organization of talking to and lobbying for MLS. How? I'm hoping this thread can be a pretty on topic discussion of plans (I know, on topic? I'm dreaming).
Sidenote: getting the Vikes interested means, I hope, them buying the Stars. It will give them a chance to slowly build soccer before the big unveiling.
