I had a chance to talk to Ernest today and compliment him on his goal from Saturday night. I found Ernest to be a very gracious and soft-spoken. My impression is that he fits in well with the team chemistry of our beloved Stars. If you get a chance to speak to him, I would encourage you to introduce yourself.

I have also had a chance to watch him train on several occassions. My impression is that he is a hard worker. From what I see, he has great physical attributes--taller, muscular and has a lot of finesse. He also seems very comfortable with the ball--like a player who plays a lot of pick-up matches. He also does a great job both finding and creating space for his teammates.

Overall, I think that Ernest will make an impact on the team this year. I think he is learning the ropes and figuring out the system of play. I noticed that him and Taka work well on the field--nice combination play out of the midfield. I think that is how his goal was set up--nice back heal, Taka!

I didn't know you spoke Spanish, Soccer Boy. I've talked to him a little, but my spanish is pretty close to nonexistent, so mostly with someone translating for us. I wore a Cameroon jersey to the FO before he was signed (before I knew he was from there), so we talked quite a bit (via Walker.)

The back heel from Taka was on the Ibarra goal - loved it!
