It looks like the MN Kings will not be playing this season due to a number of different issues. This is a major blow to soccer in MN as the Kings have been a fun team to watch over the last few years. They also provide a great opportunity to develop local talent and provide additional outlets to grow the soccer fan base.

Time to support the TwinStars!

A major blow? Can't agree with that at all. Yes, it's sad that another team has dropped, but from my understanding there were problems with the Kings and there are issues with the organization of the NPSL at this time also. I certainly would not call it a major blow. It's just unfortunate.

I don't believe they are hosting a women's team this year either. I think there dome is done however and there academy is up and running.

You sure? I haven't talked to Tim yet but I have talked to several women who asked around about the team and were told there wasn't going to be one this season. I hope I'm wrong.
