Here's a synopsis of game day ops: Review these tasks, and volunteer yourself to help here in advance, or step up during the event.

Surly Teams: pick up @ 5 PM; arr 5:30; dist 5:50 - 6:50; tear down complete by 7:05; two teams of three people share shifts during the tailgate party. Long term, consider a secure trailier that we can store game day stuff.

Merchandise Teams: arr 5:30; set up; PayPal/Square payments; Cash box; distribution; define teams/shifts, two teams of three people each; 30 minute shifts.

TIFO Setup: arr 5:30; set up baners/flags; return to tailgate; tear-down (separate team) Two or three people.

BBQ: arr/start @ 5:30 (or earlier) w/ (1) bags charcoal; coals ready @ 5:55; 2nd bag @ 6:30; 3rd Bag @ 7 for the stragglers; police area @ 7:05.

March to stadium: 7:10; up to the ticket office; thru the gate (no north gate for first two games) ; in stadium for FIFA procession; introductions; anthem

Peace and futbol.

Post-game: tear down in stadium includes wrangling flags, banners, instruments back to storage room; clean up tailgate area.

I can take a latter 30 minute merch period and a front end Surly.

Also whenever it's Jim Oliver get into the stadium yelling time I'll be getting up to do a song review of the new stuff. If your song was added I'm hoping you'll join me in teaching the tune to the crowd as opposed to solo.

I'll be on the TIFO team, the more the merrier.

If I'm going to grill, I may leave my grilling stuff with someone competent, because I'm not sure I should stand near the coals in an all-felt suit.

I cannot confidently predict when (or indeed at this point *if*) I'll be able to show up, so I'll plan to check in with folks and help out wherever I can be of the most assistance.

I recommend doing this throughout the whole tailgate. Hand out song sheets constantly, constantly start up songs so people have heard them at least once. We've tried teaching people "Better and Better" a minute before we rally people to get in the stadium and I don't think it did any good.

Those of you who are interested in the Surly Distribution. Contact me at rich@dark-clouds.com . I'd like to get a list put together so i can coordinate teams of 3 for each match. if we get more people we could tag team for each tailgate so some of us can feast and drink and be more merry!

Andy and I will be picking up the beer at the brewery this week.

That's a really good point.

I'm going to print as many sheets as I reasonably can because the regulars are going to need them too.
