Once again we get to welcome back one of our gods....Justin Evans. You just got to love a guy who comes out of the showers after a game with just a towel covering up the family jewels to put an a$$ whooping on a rowdy visiting fan. The fact it was Schweitzer's little bro was truly divine. That bit of Battery lore is almost as classic as the DCU dressing room trashing a la Coffee Pot Cup story.

And of course we'll get to welcome back hometown boy Hunter Gilstrap and former Battery players Louis Rolko and Jason "Chutney" Kutney. Always loved Kutney...had a little bit of Psycho John Ball in him. And another thing about Kutney that has been bugging me for years....in a former life, I think he used to be the front man for The Cure, Robert Smith.

Sanyang and Cuevas both subbed out due to injuries. hope they arent too serious. as both have been playing well.

Boyd had a few good moves but seemed to mess up with the final ball. Ill give him another week or two before I pass judgement.

Defense was strong again tonight. Dykstra made a couple key saves and I thought Mueller had a great game along with Falvey and Hoeffer. Of course Johnny was his usual motor working hard up and down the wing all night.

Jose was walking better, once he had it iced, but he was in some pain, when he first came off.
