I know obviously San Diego would love to build a new stadium for their Chargers, but I have to think there could be room for an SSS if Chivas moved there. It makes a lot of sense. Call it an even trade - Chivas for the Clippers (even if its 30 years later).
Apparently, there is some reason to think that San Diego wouldn't be the best fit for an MLS club. I was sleeping on the fact that a lot of San Diego residents travel to Tijuana to support Xolos until one of the leaders of Chivas USA's Union Ultras was interviewed on the Ultras Alive podcast a couple weeks ago breaking it down (of course he's biased but that doesn't automatically mean that Dude's wrong). I can see where an MLS club named Chivas might get dwarfed by a Liga MX side.
Heck, if I lived near there I can see where I would try to cross the border to go to what seems like a beautiful stadium and see Yanks like Joe Corona play or maybe catch teams that have Yanks like DMB with Puebla or DJ Kool Herc with Santos Laguna.
