Can I just say that anyone that has an idea like this can post it on the message board, by all means, but don't let this back and forth tell you whether your idea is good. Grab some paint and a bedsheet and make yourself a banner. Nessy was a funny idea that got traction because a few people made fun tifo and souvenirs. Ditto for the TAKATIME meme from last year.

Trying to come up with reasons or explanations for something is a great way for us to waste time at work, but nobody with an idea should let conversations like this limit their creativity.
