They've been looking at Kyle since November. Glad to find out that he's still there in February.
Not sure exactly what you're referring to, but while they're both MLS teams, it has been TWO different teams he's trialed for; Portland last fall and San Jose currently.

Yup, different team. Evidently he was not invited back to Portland. That doesn't mean he didn't do well. Just not what they were looking for in a CB at this point and time.
Grrrr, you're right. They are two different teams, aren't they? I somehow still had Portland on my mind for the current tryout (hoping, I suppose). Actually, I would prefer Earthquakes over Timbers, so good luck Kyle!

Here is an interesting article I noticed this AM on former Stars GK Louis Crayton. It is too bad that his career with the Stars ended after only 40 minutes or so and resulted in the re-birth of Joe Warren.
I sure hope he teaches his young and rising stars never to put the ball on the ground after making a save!
