Hopefully the battle will not get to epic proportions like the Dallas Cowboys and Texans had in the early 60's when the Texans got the Cotton Bowl on Sunday and the Cowboys had to play on Friday nights, since Saturday it was being used for college (SMU). What did the Texans do? They made a buy one get one free if you brought in a stub from a high school football game from Friday night, which necessarily meant you couldn't see your favorite high school team AND the Cowboys! Nice marketing but ultimately it didn't pan out since the Texans saw the writing on the wall and moved to KC.

Since KC already has an MLS team, it doesn't matter in the slightest - I just enjoy the history.
