League starts January 18th, so I'd still love to brainstorm about how to collect money asap. I've never done anything like this so I could use some help

Ok, I think that if there is an effort to get a second team going, then that's fine, but let's solidify one team. Is this arbitrary grouping fine with people?

If we have that then everyone needs to pony up $44.50 a piece. Then the $10 a game thing. We can figure that out pretty easy at the games.
So, of this group (if this is the group), who will be there on Monday? If you aren't going to be there, can you use paypal (it's free if you're sending person to person)? If there is still a person or two maybe they could just pay at our first game.
Now, Pfutz, can you float this on your credit card (or float the few who won't get the money until the 18th)? Are you comfortable collecting it all?

Does anyone know if you have to have a roster finalized at registration or is there some time?

It just seems to me that more and more people keep getting added. I mean Bruce joked about almost having enough for a 3rd team. It would be much easier for those still inviting players to just go ahead and have them responsible for their own teams, rather than having everyone responsible for both or all the teams. No?

I should have final details on Team 2 tomorrow morning.
I have 10 people, must waiting for the confirmation from 1 last person.

So, If we want to start moving on a third team then someone needs to step up and start organizing that. I have my hands full making Team 2 happen. There is probably enough interesting in pushing for a third team.
