It's that time again. For those trying to follow their favorite former or current Minnesota Thunder/Stars player, here's a list of who's playing pro indoor soccer this year:
MISL
Baltimore Blast - Warren Ukah, Stephen de Roux. Milwaukee Wave - Jonathan Greenfield Missouri Comets - Leo Gibson, Lucas Rodriguez, Geison Wichita Wings - Frederico Moojen
PASL
Ohio Vortex - Andy Lorei San Diego Sockers - Brian Farber
"Perhaps more to come as a few PASL teams have yet to finalize their rosters" notifies

I predict Lucas will have another standout season. He pretty much left MN right after getting back from Florida for the indoor season.

I wonder what my "soccer name" would be if I was from South America? Would I be "Soccer," or "Boy."

You'd be....this post isn't about you, it's about players who are playing indoors this winter. Professional players to be specific. And speaking of...Looks as if our friend Marco Terminessi has now returned to the Milwaukee Wave.

I like Andy and hope he is back with the Stars in 2012. I attended a number of Stars training sessions toward the end of last season. There were a few players who really were not giving 100% in my opinion.
On the other hand, Andy was working hard and giving it his all--even though he did not see much playing time. He also seemed positive and was supporting his teammates that were in the starting XI. Finally, Andy did a great job doing color commentary for the fantasy camp (although I did not like his comment about me...when I took my shirt off...after scoring what has to have been the best goal ever scored...in fantasy camp history.

Update:
According to Andy, he secured a release to work on a deal to go to another indoor team. Unfortunately, that option fell through, so he might rejoin the Vortex.

BTW Uhclem, I ran into Christiano and Geison Moura at the NSCAA convention on Thursday evening. They were there promoting the Commits who had a big game Saturday evening which they were trying to drum up interest in from the NSCAA crowd. Sounds as if they had a good turnout. Leo Gibson is on that team as well. Christiano is excited to get the outdoor season going again.

What's the use of having a guy that tall on a team when you have to play under a roof.
