I am curious to see what everyone things about Juan Agudelo and his future as a soccer superstar. I really started following his career this past MLS season and had some great first impressions. I really got excited when I saw this goal versus DC United.

However, as the season wore on, I became less and less impressed with the guy. I thought his performance with the USMNT was subpar, and really think at this point in his career he can only "perform" when he is supported by other players.

I also watched in interest the last match against Philly, and was disappointed that he did not get the start--and was not subbed in until the match was really in hand for the Red Bulls, and honestly thought it was odd that he was not sent in until stoppage time.

I have also attached a recent commentary from SoccerAmerica's Paul Gardner. He starts his commentary out by stating, "Is Juan Agudelo going to be a star?" I love rhetorical questions like this.

Red Bulls slap Agudelo with 1m 45s insult
