I have long held the opinion that Brad Knighton IS NOT the best GK in the NASL. I was watching Brad warm up the other night before the match vs. the NSC MN Stars. Overall, I thought he was lazy, did not bring an intensity to his preparations and had terrible footwork.
Yeah, I should have brought a camera with me so I could post some examples--however--I did not. At any rate, I think the attached video clearly demonstrates this guy should forever be in the D2 of professional soccer. You will note on the chip/game winning goal, he jumps at the ball like an untrained U13 keeper who was given the gloves because the starting keeper can't play due to a hangnail. Also, when he goes back to the bar, from a technical standpoint, he should have rotated to the right and punched the ball over the cross bar with his right fist and not slap at it like a 3rd grader in a cat fight.
You be the judge:
My prediction is the Stars will draw 1-1 in Carolina, but will win the total goal series. Come on you Stars!!!

So what you are saying is Knighton will soon be a Whitecap reject? He has a lot of technical flaws in his play and really is not that good. Yeah, we will see him again the the NASL...or USL PRO.

I don't think that I actually said anything...all I did was publish a link to an article. I've never seen the Railhawks play, but I did see the Charlotte Eagles play once back in 2000.
