http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/...lish-fa?cc=5901The president of the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF), Ricardo Teixeira, has launched an incredible attack on the English FA and the BBC
Teixeira has been tipped to succeed FIFA President Sepp Blatter, but used a magazine interview in his homeland to reveal his anger at Lord Triesman's allegations that he had asked for bribes during the World Cup 2014 bidding process.

-That's funny I thought it was Platini that was going to be the shoe in for the top FIFA spot in four years...?

Teixeira is also reported to have told the magazine that he was "going to make their lives hell" when referring to the English media and the Football Association.
He said: "In 2014, I'll be able to get away with anything. The most slippery, unthinkable,
Machiavellian things. Denying press credentials, barring access, changing game schedules. And you know what? Nothing'll happen. You know why? Because in 2015 I'm out of here. Then it'll all be over."

This is all very confusing... I think I'm going to have to go back and re-read the book I read in collage about leadership and making realistic choices depending on the -environment- you are actually in:
Machiavelli's, The Prince"Men have imagined republics and principalities that never really existed at all. Yet the way men live is so far removed from the way they ought to live that anyone who abandons what is, for what should be, pursues his downfall rather than his preservation; for a man who strives after goodness in all his acts is sure to come to ruin, since there are so many men who are not good".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_PrinceAlthough the work advises princes how to tyrannize, Machiavelli is generally thought to have preferred some form of free republic. Some commentators justify his acceptance of immoral and criminal actions by leaders by arguing that he lived during a time of continuous political conflict and instability in Italy, and that his influence has increased the "pleasures, equality and freedom" of many people...
Machiavelli emphasized the need for realism, as opposed to idealism.
Managing major reforms can show off a Prince's virtue and give him glory. He clearly felt Italy needed major reform in his time, and this opinion of his time is widely shared.
