Can't count on 0-0 and penalties every week. Looking at 4 straight games with no goals. I don't care who we're playing, that's just not acceptable.

3-0 FT. It wasn't that close.

BD- obviously dissapointing but the Kickers had (are still having) a great season. OC is ultra tough at home and are playing at the top of their game. If that weird deflection doesn't go in, it could have been different, but losing to OC isn't anything to hang your head about.

All the best against Chi-town!

Oh Im not taking anything away from OC as they are a good side. Just pissed about how the team played after that first goal. I was sitting here taking to my daughter when the game started and told her Richmond HAD to score first. If not I was afraid it would turn out like the last meeting. And it did.
Gonna need to play a whole lot better Tuesday for sure. It's been a good year but when your expectations are to win trophies it doesn't matter. Leigh spoke of that in an article today about the Open Cup.

Great game tonight guys! The Kickers had me on the edge of my seat even being 2 goals up. Our defense was a little unorganized a couple of times and I thought we were in trouble. Hopefully this warmed you guys up for next week. To me, Vercollone was impressive tonight.

Dave,
Power back!
I read what Leigh said about first point, and I wonder if he didn't make too strong a statement that set the team back when OC scored. Kickers should be well tested and able to keep concentration even if down.

Just remember.. OC is doing exactly what they're SUPPOSED to be doing. They were a good USSF-2 Team who dropped down to USL-2 and kept most of their players. They did what Charleston did last season and what Richmond did in 2006.. They'll drop off next year. Unless they self promote themselves to MLS ::snort::

I didn't get to watch the game(power has been off and might be until tomorrow). I have to wonder if maybe our team was distracted by the hurricane here. Sometimes we forget there's quite a few players who grew up here, have family here, and or lived here for quite a while. I'm not making excuses for them or taking away from OC but I'm curious if their head was in Orlando.
