Souls not Goals

Ratt, just out of curiousity, I saw someone from Richmond named 'Mike' who put a pretty positive comment out there under the article. If that was you, that was pretty cool. After reading the comments I put 1 and 1 together...

yep .... they were getting some flak there and on facebook about it. So I did my good deed for the day. I know.... totally ruins my rep as a first class jerk. Sigh, guess I'll have to start over.

That was top notch of you to do that.

Bottom line, you were honest about your analysis when you visited there. You weren't real excited about them praying but once the game got on, it was 'game on'. Most of the other posters probably never went to a football match, much less an Eagles game - something you have done on multiple occasions. You were very respectful and had an informed opinion.

My first dealings with the Eagles was in 2002, and then I was able to attend and sometimes even lead the chapel service when they came to town in subsequent years. These guys are genuine about their faith. This is why they are my adopted team and its still hard to root against them, even when they play the 'Hounds. Mark Steffans and I have developed a friendship and he is a super cool guy who really gets it.

Again man, kudos to you...you never know who may be reading your posts!
