I'm sitting here watching Seattle play San Francisco right now, realizing that we're only two games away from being in this same position next year. It's still a longshot, but it would without a doubt be the coolest thing I've ever experienced in all my years following the Kickers. I'd be doing anything I could to get to whatever country we'd travel to as well, even if it was Mexico to get (likely) pounded. Who knows though, a little luck in the draw and we might even have a chance at the group stage.

Man I hope we beat Chicago to give us a chance to chase the dream to it's doorstep.

Although we all root for our respective USL clubs during our season, we certainly wish you all the best with Chicago and beyond!

Futbol thanks for the support. I try to always pull for the USL teams when they go up against the "big boys" so to speak. The DCU/Charleston final was tough but I managed to pull for the Battery. Did I just say that ?

speaking of dreaming I got a call a few days from a soccer assistant coach at VCU I work alongside with. He called because he knew I was a Man UTD fan and his friend had two tics to the Man UTD-Barcelona game fall in his lap. He said he couldn't go so I could have them free. I texted a friend of mine who works in the Kickers asking if he wanted to go. Well his phone was acting up and his response wouldn't work so he blew my facebook up with messages and wall posting of YES YES I CAN GO I CAN GO!! We're heading out soon to get a early start on tailgating

Also I been thinking about the US Open Cup a lot. Just getting to bring that back to the stadium to a standing ovation of the fans would be a great thing.

So that's where my two tickets went .....lol
I lost out on 2 suite tickets thanks to the NFL lockout. Long story but oh well I hate both teams.
