Apparently Joey's beat um down negotiation style did not go over well with the contractors in Montreal and they just left him all alone sitting on his fence of lower pricing. Not the first time this has happened in Montreal. Joey could have entered MLS around the same time as Toronto when it was just $10,000,000 to get in, instead of the requested $40,000,000 to get in during 2009-10.
Maybe they should wait another year and stay in the second division until the stadium, team's play, coaching staff, and the front office are actually ready for the demands of division one soccer in America?
Just sayin...
