The press has a hard time understanding the steps the process must go through, and can't seem to understand that this is only the first step and more will come later, they wanted everything to happen today before the election. The ball is rolling forward, but it's not up to the ethics committee to decide what happens next in anything other than what they were asked to look at, they have agreed an investigation needs to start on wrong doing in the 2022 bid.

Now it's up to the 208 members of the congress to deiced what happens next and how quickly that will happen and if somethings should be delayed before the uncontested presidential vote takes place. Blatter could win his re-election on the June 1, then still be investigated if evidence comes up pointing at him.

Blatter press conference

Congress unity- seems to be his main message. No dirty laundry out in public, he wants it to stay internal.
"Crisis what is a crisis"
"Crisis will be solved inside our family"
So far he has ignored/refused to answer the "larger" issues of 2022.
Blatter is getting angry at the English press for asking un-allowed follow-up question, or double questions.

Conference is over but reporters keep asking question, and Blatter wants to answer one more, but then leaves after the english speaking reporter does a poor job of asking his question.

"I have only asked for respect, nothing more" = Respect in using the correct process of a press conference given by the president of a large organization.

Again the English press kinda blew it, by wanting too much too soon and not listening very well to his answers.

And Blatter basically said nothing changes at the press conference. The vote will continue on Wed., and nothing he has seen, including the email from FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke to Jack Warner saying the 2022 WC was bought. http://es.pn/kRWA2g

Blatter said that basically, it's business as usual and the 2 WC bids WILL NOT be reviewed.

"Furthermore we were happy also that we haven't received any evidence from the Sunday Times or from any announced whistle blower with regards allegations against two other EXCO members. Therefore the same - what shall we do? Nothing. The World Cup 2022 is not touched, nor is the World Cup 2018.
