Blatter did not rule out reopening the 2022 vote if corruption could be proved, but urged taking the matter ''step by step.''

Blatter said the situation must be ''clarified'' by May 27 - five days before Blatter stands for re-election against Qatari challenger Mohamed bin Hammam.

'The ethics committee is already alerted and alarmed. They are not just lying on the beach,'' Blatter said. ''All the members will come for the Congress (on June 1) so it will be easy to have an ethics committee convened in very short notice.''

When is that newest american large stadium built to accommodate soccer games due to be finished again in Arden Hills?

Ok, maybe I'm a dreamer, but it's more fun than work!

I'd like to see a new vote but I don't see the outcome being any different though. They'll just revote for Qatar and say "see this wasn't rigged after all" Herr Bladder is right down there with Macos and Holt in the slimey & sleezy department

If Bin Hammam does not become president of FIFA and is basically thrown out, then Qater is no longer even a real choice. I think this has been a set up all along by Sepp to get rid of his one and only real opposition to his power. Bin Hammam was able to recruit people for his own ambitions with the WC bid but also for his bid to take the president role away. Those things take a long time to develop when it happens one in-person meeting at a time Those ambitions were most likely communicated to Sapp way before the WC bid took place. To build that type of coalition many people were invited in to the inside of the circle, and were most likely promised something. Now that the king has exposed the circle of traders and they are about to be shown as who they really are, many will be running back to Sepp to beg for forgiveness to save their own heads. Maybe that is why he is laughing so hard in the photo.

Another interesting thing is that all this is being brought to the surface by the British. And they look to want to take both them down now.

This is big, very big. Out of chaos comes opportunity.

Oops! A little snag in Blatter's plan. Like a lot of things in Europe it's now imploding on both of them.

Blatter ''had no issue'' with the bribes being arranged, according to bin Hammam's formal complaint.

http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/world...ry-claim-052711

FIFA placed its own president under investigation Friday in a widening bribery scandal just days before Sepp Blatter is scheduled to face re-election against Mohamed bin Hammam.

Bin Hammam, a Qatari official who has been accused of buying votes, claimed there was ''increasing evidence of a conspiracy'' against him and said he was confident the ethics panel will ''see through this tawdry maneuver'' to remove him from the race.

UEFA's Michel Platini is ready to clean up the mess. He will end up being the new FIFA President.

http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/world...ry-claim-052711

"To not have elections you need three-quarters of the assembly who will say, 'No elections,''' said Platini, a FIFA executive member for nine years who has never been linked to scandal.

''You know the people who are corrupt, they know who can be corruptible. They know I am incorruptible,'' the French playing great said in London.

If it does, I bet it goes to England.
