I think teams get 50 comp tix, but there were more Richmond fans there then that. The real number at the game was maybe 350 to 400 total, FCNY used the one side of the stadium and only one end. I don't know how much all the tickets are, mine was a face value of $25. (I was comped thankfully), and I was sitting about 35 yards out from goal.. not on the end, but definitely not center seats either. They may charge less for seats behind the goal and towards the ends and more for center seats, I truly don't know. The security was all St. Johns. From the wandings and securitate pat downs to the the guys that came out and stood on the pitch at halftime and after the game to the game to make sure nobody "invaded". They all had on St.Johns suits and ties. The ushers all wore St. Johns shirts also. I'd love to see FCNY "make it".. but there is no way that they're going to with those prices and that level of (in)security.
On the positive side of things, we were told to expect a lot of disorganization in regards to the comp tix and and such, but there wasn't any at all (unlike Harrisburg), that I could see. Everything went smoothly. Even parking was free.
Overall it was a good experience, a little bland with no mascots, no halftime "entertainment" or anything.. which is OK for me because I'm there to watch the game, but for kids and casual fans.. i can see where they'd get quite bored pretty easily.
