Do you get any discounts from Sam's Army?

Not sure what Sam's Army offers. You could check their website.

I was too lazy to type in "Sams Army." I blew the $20 my grandma gave me for my birthday on an American Outlaws membership--just signed up! I will try it for one year and see how if goes.

PS: I think it is pretty sad that Iowa and South Dakota have official chapters and we don't. Come on guys, lets get a real chapter going here!

I've arranged to get some Membership Kits sent in before the meeting, so if there are others who intend to join, please do not hesitate, and plan to join us for the organizational meeting 2 hours before the Argentina game.

Meeting to be held in the St. Anthony Room, just down the hall from the bar.

Agenda: Meet other AO members; Election of President and Memebership Chairperson

March 26, 2011

AO Meeting at 4 PM
Sweetwater Bar and Grill
161 Saint Anthony Ave
Saint Paul, MN
Located at the Kelly Inn of I-94 and Marion St.
http://tiny.cc/5nr6l

U.S. Men vs. Argentina
kickoff 6 p.m. CT

Also: at least a dozen local supporters have begun arrangements for the Gold Cup road trip to Kansas City (June 14th)

does anyone have a contact list of all active members in AO in the cities? turnout for this last vote was pretty crappy, and i'd volunteer to call some people to let them know about this one.

I signed up for AO a week ago. I likely will not be able to attend the meeting as my wife is having a fairly significant surgical procedure several days before. When you have four kids and a dog to take care of, my free time outside the house is going to be limited for a few weeks. Please keep me posted on how things go. I am going to try and sneak out for the US/Argentina match that evening.

How many AO members are there now? Is there a certain number of new people that need to sign up to become official and get off this ugly page?

There is nothing wrong with being unofficial!

The uniqueness of the 1st Minnesota Volunteers is something to behold, in my opinion. Nonetheless, I wis the AO members all the luck in the world, but is there really a need to partially assimilate in order to become an "official" chapter?
